U have asked that qts b4 and at that time i directed you to read the tutorial section for different ways to bypass rapid share. I once again direct u to the tutorial section if u haven't gone through all of them.
If you have gone through all of the and none work for you then I suggest u buy a rapid share account as thats all there is left.
For future references when u ask for help plz don't edit and remove ur original qts so that if u need clarification u can ask in the same post by replying to ur own post and also so that anyone else looking for similar help can read the help qts and answer. Failure to do abide by this rule will result in infraction.

unless you have dynamic ip, i don't think there is a way around atleast not one i know off

hey db11 i have a static ip and all i need to do is turn off my modem for a couple of minutes and turn it back on again and i can download unlimited files. you should give it a try it might work, it does for me

My download technique
As I am not a premium user, what I do is download a file, wait till it's finished, I go into my router login page and I disconnect and reconnect the connection hence giving me a different IP address - This in essence is rebooting the rooter. So once I have done this I have a different IP and once I then try a different Rapidshare file, it works fine - normally

I was download the game rFactor, and I download parts 1 - 16 with no problem, when it came to part 17 I couldn't download it, I though nothing of it at first, I disconnected and reconnected my rooter a second time, it still didn't work.

So, I removed all my cookies, restarted firefox, (reconn and disconn) and It still didn't work.

What I mean by "didn't work" is that it displays a message saying:

"You have reached the download-limit for free-users. Want to download more?
Get your own Premium-account now! Instant download-access! (Or wait 70 minutes)"

So what I did is to wait that amount of time in brackets. Then finally, it came up with the character recognition for me to type, I made sure I typed correctly but it then came up with: There was a problem, click here to try again. So I clicked, but when I came to type the characters it says, "you have typed too many wrong codes" So I waited for 10 mins and tried again and then it came up with the original problem again: it had set me a new time.

rapidshare has this knows error nothing u can do try restarting ur comp some files it does that usually restarting ur comp resolve it but it is rapidshare known error

So can you download the file? Is it rapidshare that is the problem and not me?

yes I am, I have a wireless rooter: Netgear DG834G and I am using wireless. But the weird thing is that it has always worked until i got to this particular file.

whenever i try to download from rapidshare it says u have reached the download limit for free user. is my computer hacked???????? or what may be the problem..

I had same problem just use different brwoser or clear ur cookies. do a quick disc clean up --> start/program/accessories/system tools/disk cleanup. That should fix the problem

ur computer is not hacked... as u r using rapidshare for free.. thats why u r getting this msg.. that u need to wait 100+ minutes for your next download...once that time limit is finished.. u can start download again.

if you want ot skip that time limit then restart ur computer and then download.. it works.!
