mms stream wont be working, most common cause it was full.
sopcast wasnt being streamed for last game its went down.

Problem watching stream/

aye mate, I looked at both threads before posting. On the mms one, usually when its full, you press play and nothing happens. In this case I cant press play, cause its not there to press!! Also ive tried it on a few other sites during match time and its the same as this one.

TVU n sopcast dun work in FF
all should work i IE. I had an issue with IE 7 it wont let me watch the stream. You might simply need codecs. try downloading n installing ffdshow
and once again check ur active x
also can u run independently of bnrowerse TVU and sopcast?

no idea man what to tell u am not using vista so no clue may be its ur firewall or ur bandwidth problem

What version of sopcast are you using, also what firewall? I'm sure we can get this working as I've been watching the stream today and I'm running vista at the mo.

P.S Some firewalls continue to block applications even after they are turned off. So you might want to check that sopcast hasn't been listed as blocked.

sopcast is version 1.1.2
firewall is the one built in from the start -windows firewall
what version of wmp are you using ilumta? 11? Is the mms links working ok??

Wmp 11.0.6000.6336, lol, microsoft dont even make version numbers easy. My firewall (Bitdefender) is letting through sopcast.exe and also sopadver.exe, I cant remember what the last one does something to do with adverts while the stream is buffering I think. I would have a look to see if this last one is allowed as that could be the problem.
The mms link was working fine today for the PK v SA game. Can you view any of the channels through the sopcast standalone program? It doesn't matter what channel just so we can rule out that not working as well.

You havn't got back to me to say if the sopcast standalone program will stream any channels at all. Hopefully you've solved your problem, if not and some streams do open but not others then try this:

All streams on Sopcast can be viewed with VLC, additionally, sometimes VLC can stream a few seconds or more ahead of what shows up in Sopcast itself, which can help reduce your lag between the stream's source and when you watch it.

To use VLC, download VLC at http://www.videolan.org and install it , then start the Sopcast stream and let it buffer. Then open VLC, go to Open Network Stream, select HTTP option, and type in 127.0.0.1:8902 (if not working, try port 8912). You MUST leave Sopcast running; closing Sopcast closes the stream. If the stream gives sound in both VLC and Sopcast, mute the sound on Sopcast, or try to hit the refresh button so the Sopcast screen goes blank, but the VLC screen stays intact.

yeah, both sopcast & tvu work fine on standalone but not when embedded into internet explorer
