LAHORE: Newly elected Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa has got vote of confidence from the House. 264 members of the PA reposed confidence in him.The Speaker congratulated Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa on getting confidence vote. Addressing the house, the CM thanked assembly members for their support. He said struggle for democracy was not easy and February 18 dashed the hopes of dictatorship. He praised efforts of Nawaz Sharif, Asif Zardari, Shehbaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto Shaheed for restoration of democracy. The CM also praised the struggle of civil society, lawyers and media. He said coalition government would serve the people. Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa also announced reduction in the budget of CM house by 70 percent. He said all ministers would be made accountable and their performance would be monitored. The new cabinet will take oath today. According to sources, Provincial cabinet will consist of 18 members in first phase as per formula agreed between PML-N and PPP in the center.
