Hoti for strict action against culprits

PESHAWAR: NWFP Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti said strict action would be taken against those found involved in sabotaging the efforts for establishing peace. He visited the District Headquarter Hospital in Mardan and enquired after the injured of the Mardan blast and consoled them. NWFP CM condemned the bomb blast near Mardan city police station and expressed his deep shock over the loss of precious lives in the incident. Hoti also announced a sum of Rs.100000 for those killed, Rs.50000 for critically injured and Rs.25000 for slightly injured. He termed the blast a plot to derail the peace process being initiated by the provincial government, saying such acts could not deter them from their commitment towards bringing peace in the province. "We are committed to establish writ of the government and will not spare those involved in such heinous rimes," the Chief Minister said. Hoti expressed his full sympathies with the bereaved families and said all the resources will be utilized to bring the culprits behind the blast to justice. He directed the police officials to do more for netting the responsible ones in order to give them an exemplary punishment. He also directed officials of the hospital to provide free of cost treatment to the injured and prayed for the early recovery of them. There should be no lapses in providing treatment to the injured people, the Chief Minister told the hospital staff.
